Day 1
Put one packet of herbal medicine into the cotton bag provided, add 4L of cold water and allow soaking for 30 minutes. Bring herbs to boil and reduce to medium heat. Cook gently with the lid slightly ajar for 30 minutes.
Strain the liquid into a bucket and wash affected area in warm or room temperature for 5-10 minutes, the herbal liquid may be re-used within the day.
Please store the herbal bag in the fridge when temperature is warm (above 22 degrees Celsius) to prevent spoiling of herbs.
Day 2
Add 4L of cold water to the herbal bag and bring to boil (soaking is unnecessary), reduce to medium heat and cook gently with the lid slightly ajar for 30 minutes. Strain the liquid and proceed to use the liquid and store the herbal bag as the day before.
Day 3
Repeat the same procedure but allow the herbs to cook slightly longer up to 45 minutes (with the same amount of water). Throw away the herbs inside the bag after the third cooking.
Note: Always refer to the instructions that your practitioner provide during your consultation. These are general instructions; different herbal formulas may require special preparation.
